【Yokai & Mystery】 Kabuto shrine : A shrine dedicated to the helmet of Taira no Masakado.(Tokyo pref.)

Kabuto-chou, which can be called the heart of Japan's financial market.
This city, literally a 'concrete jungle' surrounded by the Nihonbashi River and the Shuto Expressway,
is home to a shrine with a mysterious legend.

At this shrine, there is a legend that 'the helmet(In Japanese, it is called 'Kabuto'.) of Taira no Masakado sleeps here,' and it seems that the place name 'Kabuto-chou' also originates from this legend! (Nihedon @ KesaranPasaran Lab)

Standing in the heart of Japan's financial business

Taira no Masakado was not simply a "warlord who existed in ancient Japan (10th century) and ruled the Kanto region," but rather one of the greatest "revolutionaries" in Japanese history, who declared himself "New Emperor" and rebelled against the imperial court at the time.

Although his ambitions were ultimately suppressed by the imperial court, it is well known that his "vengeful spirit" has been passed down in various forms.
