yTown & Gourmetz@ Searching for turtles in "Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden" (Tokyo pref.)

Despite being located in the "demon-like city" of Shinjuku, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is a massive park spanning 3.5 kilometers in circumference.

So, does the Japanese pond turtle, native to Japan, actually inhabit this "oasis in the demon world"? @(Nihedon @ KesaranPasaran Lab)

š I found turtles ! š

I'm going to try to find the island in the pond from the building with the red roof. There's probably a turtle there!

Look, there's a turtle. Can you see it?

Judging from their flat shells and the jagged edges on the back, these are probably Japanese pond turtles.

I spotted a turtle on the other side of the pond.

We crossed to the other side and got quite close to the turtles!

I think it's a Mississippi red-eared turtle.

This one is also a Mississippi red-eared turtle.
