"Kaminote" means "Turtle's Hand" in Japanese. Because its shape resembles a "Turtle's Hand," this dish is called "Kamenote" in Japan.
"Kamenote" looks like a shell, but it's actually a crustacean, just like crabs and shrimp.
It's a dish that's loved in Spain as a great pairing with white wine, but it also goes very well with sake.
